Work with Dashboards
A dashboard is a data visualization tool that gathers critical metrics from the database and provides an insight into the performance of the database. The metrics are displayed in easy-to-interpret widgets in the dashboard and help identify outliers and take corrective action.
You can use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Management Dashboards to monitor your databases and database infrastructure in the available Oracle-defined dashboards or create custom dashboards that meet your specific requirements. Information on the Oracle-defined dashboards for Database Management Diagnostics & Management is provided in this section and for detailed information on how to use Management Dashboards features, see the following sections in Management Dashboards documentation. - Access dashboards, see Access Dashboards.
To access dashboards in Diagnostics & Management:
- Sign in to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
- Open the navigation menu, click Observability & Management. Under Database Management, click Diagnostics & Management.
- In the left pane, click Dashboards.
- Set up the policies required to work with Management Dashboards, see Get Started with Management Dashboards.
- Create a custom dashboard and perform other dashboard-related tasks, see Manage Dashboards.
- Create widgets and perform other widget-related tasks, see Manage Widgets.
