Additional Services

Use the Console to view the additional services pages such as activity, alarms, announcements, and service limits. These pages display an aggregated lists of activities, alarms, announcements, or service limits of a compartment, which enables you to quickly scan all related items of the compartment.

Viewing Activity

Use the Console to view all MySQL HeatWave Service work requests in a compartment.

This task requires the following:
  • A policy that permits you to access the compartment.
Do the following to view all activities in the compartment:
  1. Open the navigation menu and select Databases. Under MySQL HeatWave, select Overview, DB systems, Backups, Channels, or Configurations.
  2. Select the compartment from the List scope.
  3. Under Additional services, select Activity.
  4. (Optional) Select the Actions menu present on the same line as the activity, and select View details to open the Work request details page.
A list of all MySQL HeatWave Service work requests in the compartment is displayed.

Viewing Alarms

Use the Console to view all MySQL HeatWave Service alarms in a compartment.

This task requires the following:
  • A policy that permits you to access the compartment.
Do the following to view all alarms in the compartment:
  1. Open the navigation menu and select Databases. Under MySQL HeatWave, select Overview, DB systems, Backups, Channels, or Configurations.
  2. Select the compartment from the List scope.
  3. Under Additional services, select Alarms.
  4. (Optional) To view alarms across all services such as Networking and Database, select View alarms across all services. See Supported Services.
A list of all MySQL HeatWave Service alarms in the compartment is displayed.

Viewing Announcements

Use the Console to view all MySQL HeatWave Service announcements in your compartment.

This task requires the following:
  • A policy that permits you to access the compartment.
Do the following to view all announcements in the compartment:
  1. Open the navigation menu and select Databases. Under MySQL HeatWave, select Overview, DB systems, Backups, Channels, or Configurations.
  2. Select the compartment from the List scope.
  3. Under Additional services, select Announcements.
  4. (Optional) To view announcements across all services such as Networking and Database, select View announcements across all services. See Supported Services.
A list of all MySQL HeatWave Service announcements in the compartment is displayed. Any unread announcement is displayed in bold.

Viewing Service Limits

Use the Console to view all MySQL HeatWave Service service limits in a compartment.

This task requires the following:
  • A policy that permits you to access the compartment.
Do the following to view all service limits in the compartment:
  1. Open the navigation menu and select Databases. Under MySQL HeatWave, select Overview, DB systems, Backups, Channels, or Configurations.
  2. Select the compartment from the List scope.
  3. Under Additional services, select Service limits.
  4. (Optional) To view service limits across all services such as networking and database, select View limits for all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services. See Supported Services.
  5. In the Card view, select the > button in any of the following:
    • Resource at service limit: Displays MySQL HeatWave Service resources that have reached the service limits. You must increase the service limits.
    • Resource approaching service limits: Displays MySQL HeatWave Service resources that are approaching the service limits. You should consider increasing the service limits.
    • Resources within service limits: Displays MySQL HeatWave Service resources that are within the service limits.
  6. (Optional) To view the service limits in a list, select the List view tab.
  7. (Optional) To increase the service limits, do one of the following:
    • Card view: Select Request service limit increase.
    • List view: Select Actions menu present on the same line as your resource, and select Request service limit increase.
